Quarter Cross Stitch

Quarter and three quarter cross-stitches are used to obtain rounded shapes in a design. On linen and evenweave fabric, a quarter stitch extends from the corner to the center intersection of threads. To make quarter stitches on Aida cloth, estimate the corner of the square. Quarter stitches may slant in any direction.
