Colors used:
This Sampler design is very colorful. There was no way to reduce the colors farther than I have without destroying the fine shading. There is no complete or common color key for the entire design. Each segment will have it's own key for it's individual motifs.
Even with the large total number of colors, most stitchers should have most of the colors in their own stash already. This is a great way to use the small left-over floss stash!
The exception are the design borders where more floss of the same colors is required.
For the design borders there's a special list with length information for the colors needed based on 3 strands on 14 count fabric. Download list of border colors (PDF).

Machine Embroidery
For the Machine Embroidery version of the sampler, the motifs will be in separate files. The border is too large to be used in a hoop. As a result, machine embroiders are invited to 'compose' (and show) their own version of the sampler. |

The gray shaded areas on the chart represent the overlapping stitches. Do not stitch twice!
